This project had everything from highly technical coordination and design (including some engineering) to just good old-fashioned design-fun.

Emira Head Office
The project included a complete turnkey solution which included everything from construction, new furniture, new IT & audiovisual installation and new equipment to relocation planning.
The client brief demanded a 'light and bright with a bit of spunk' new office environment. The design philosophy was to keep things simple and play with high contrast colours, which found a harmony between furniture, walls and carpets. The spatial experience of the office is enhanced by introduction of landscaping wallpaper along with a slight diagonal axis of the central spine to the office. A distorted illusion of depth is established and enhanced through a careful play of lines throughout the design - chairs grow into trees, horisons becomes counters and walls wrap into ceilings and floors...

The project's greatest challenge was to refurbish 4 500m² office space while the client still occupied the building.
We are proud that the project was completed on time despite this challenge and trust that TCTA are enjoying their new working environment!

Abacus Divisions new office was inspired by the following concept:
"when you follow the dot - you get connected.
the dot lets you branch out and reach out to others
through the dot opportunities grow towards realisation
the dot brings to life dreams and ideals
the dot enables opportunities of growth"
These concepts are represented through the blend of images, colours and maps. A strong sense of corporate identity has been established through the new offices.
We believe Abacus Divisions have already had numerous dots being connected since moving into their new home.

MineRP Solutions moved into their new office that boasts a vibrant and personalised environment that relates to the operations of the company. The client brief demanded a subtle introduction of their corporate branding through colours, a theme that sna architects have become renowned for in the market.
The office boasts state of the art video conferencing and boardroom facilities, link to an entertainment area used by staff an visitors alike.
Playful use is made of imagery from the mining industry to constantly remind the users of their end users in turn. This establishes a subtle connection between the 'programmer' and the 'real world'.
We are glad to say that this project was completed again under budget and within the allowed time frame!
